I entered a Vienna lager last September into a homebrew contest sponsored by Arizona Society of Homebrewers. I finally got my result back about three weeks ago. It was less than what I hoped.My Vienna lager scored an average of 33 points, which is very good. This was good enough to score a bronze, but I am not very satisfied as I have won bronze and silver medals in numerous occasions. At least, I got a cool beer glass, an ounce of hops, and $10 liquor gift certificate as prizes. I scanned the following comments from the judges for your reading.
