There is a non profit group in Phoenix, Local First Arizona, that wants you to support local businesses. Not big national chains. It totally makes sense. When you use local businesses, most of money spent stays in that area. I always make a point to shop at Bashas, which includes AJ's and Food City, because it is the only local grocery chain. In addition, Ed Bashas gives back to post secondary education in Arizona.
Why am I mumbling about local businesses? Because Local First Arizona is offering free 20% off coupons to local businesses. Participating businesses includes Cowboy Ciao, Spinato's, Don & Charlie's, and much more. You print it and use it. Save money while doing good!
